By faith, we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Children have to learn the Theory of Evolution in the state-controlled public schools but that doesn’t mean they have to believe the teachings of Darwinism. They are not presented with any alternative philosophies to explain creation. As parents and grandparents, it’s our responsibility to teach our children the truth of our existence. If we don’t, they will grow up to believe a lie.
There is no proof to support evolution, as much as the proponents try to bully us into believing. There is no experiment, either astronomical or biological, that can be performed to replicate the conditions the secularists say lead to our existence. They offer everything from conjecture to fanciful artwork, even outright fraud and lies to support their positions.
To be fair, creationists cannot prove special creation through experimentation either. However, we do have an eyewitness who tells us through the scriptures how the heavens and the earth were created. Yes, it requires faith to believe what the scriptures say. However, faith is required to believe in the Theory of Evolution that has had innumerable changes to suit new information that comes to light. The Bible has not changed. “In the beginning,” means the same thing today as the day it was written.
Which is harder to believe, the universe has a creator or it just popped into existence from nothing? Which is harder to believe, the earth was created by divinely spoken word or it just happened by accident? Which is harder to believe, that God formed the first man from the dust of the ground, in his own image, or we’re just an accident of chemistry? It’s much harder for me to believe in accidental existence than the truth of scripture.
The real reason people choose to believe in evolution is that the alternative requires a supreme being. It means they will have to submit themselves to the one true God, creator of the heavens and the earth! It means their entire worldview is a lie and has to change. When you want to learn the truth, turn away from the lies of evolution and come face to face with Jesus who died to rescue you from depths of your sins and the lies of naturalism, which is just as much a religion as Christianity.




Daily Prayer

Heavenly Father, we wonder at the depth of your love for us. You created everything that can be seen in the macro-universe, everything that can’t be seen in the micro-universe, and everything in the spiritual realm. Because of our rebellious hearts, we try to explain away special creation as just an accident of nature. In the beginning, there was nothing, and then it exploded, which somehow created all the mass and energy in the universe today. Of course, to believe such a fantastical tale requires faith, much more faith than it takes to believe in you. There aren’t enough words or ways to thank you enough for showing us the truth through the scriptures. Thank you for sending Jesus to us, to save us from our sins. The punishment for sin is death, but he rescued us from that fate and stands between us and our accuser. We hope we can show you how thankful we are and how much we love you. Lead our steps, one by one, to give you glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen!

Preach the Word

(2 Timothy 4:2) Meditation I used to think it was only the pastors job to preach the Word of God. I’m not a preacher, so it didn’t occur to me to share the gospel. Think About Heavenly Things
